University of Manchester ranks 3rd in the UK in Engineering and Technology based on Shanghai Jiao Tong University (2012). The SmartH2O project will occur in the School of Mechanical Aerospace and Civil Engineering. University of Manchester has a strong research track on water resources and spatial economics.
ROLE:
UoM will focus on economic and econometric analysis of demand and the use of dynamic pricing mechanisms, which linked to smart meters and social media can offer new opportunities to reduce demand.
